From the Alps to the Pyrenees, the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea, set off on this motorcycle trip to discover not only the magnifique France but also Spain and Andorra’s landscapes. Cross all the mountain passes, plateaux, gorges and valleys, admire the powerful waves of the Atlantic Ocean and the peaceful and blue-turquoise Mediterranean Sea, go through the Pyreneans snow-capped summits to the arid plains of the Monegros desert and finish with Provence & the Alps with the amazing “Gorges du Verdon” and the tiny roads of the picturesque Vercors.
These diverse regions will bring you an ocean of flavours, from the Auvergnate cuisine to the Spanish tapas, from the South West specialties to the Mediterranean cuisine, you will be thrilled to complement all your wines and delicacies…

Wash away some jetlag, have a walk to the nearby lake, wander in the old streets and shaded parks, delight yourself in the hot pool… By the end of the day, enjoy your first evening filled with familiarizing yourself with the excitement of what lays ahead whilst enjoying a taste of the Alpine Cuisine.

Getting familiar with the bikes and rapidly escaping on the Massif Central roads. From one small village to the next one, get lost in the middle of the simple and strong beauty of these preserved landscapes.

200 km / 4-5h

Discover the Auvergne Volcanoes sleeping for more than a million years. Cross the Pas de Peyrol with its breathtaking panoramas above 1,600m before escalating the few meters that take you to the peak of the mythic Puy Mary, highest European volcano.
Wander the deserted roads of the green countryside and admire the unique cows of the region. Take a break and walk around in the little streets of Salers, ranked as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Keep going in the Dordogne Valley and don’t forget to contemplate the vertiginous Padirac chasm and its geological mysteries. End up this superb day with a South-West specialty dish and a regional glass of wine in the medieval village of Rocamadour, hanging from a rock above the Alzou Canyon.

Cross the Causses du Quercy towards the gigantic Landes forest and its huge straight lines that will rapidly lead you into the Basque country with its green landscapes and  jagged coastline carved by the powerful waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

120 km / 3h

Leave the coastal roads of the Basque country towards San Sebastian in Spain where you will do nothing but taste the Pintxos tapas while enjoying a Spanish glass of wine in one of the several bars in the town. Explore the cobbled streets and peacefully come back to Biarritz where you will spend the night to suit your whims and fancies.

Take your time to enjoy the beautiful Biarritz, explore the covered market and savour the oysters, fall in love with the local charcuterie or the Basque cheese without forgetting the local glass of wine. Then get rid of the excess of food by walking along the coast that will lead you to its famous ‘Rocher de la Vierge’…

250 km / 6h

Zigzag between France and Spain by passing through the border at least four times while riding through the Pyrenees and its deserted roads, its summits and valleys.

180 km / 4h

Take the direction of the superb Pourtalet summit via gorges, hills, plateaux and valleys enclosed between the snow-capped summits. Avoid the flocks in liberty and find yourself on the Spanish side where you will find the climate dry and  the landscape stony and arid . Get lost in the National Park of Ordesa and Mont-Perdu that will offer wonderful and breathtaking panoramas and get to the medieval village of Ainsa, ranked as one of the most beautiful village of Spain.

290 km / 5h

This magnificent day will lead you from the Pyrenees to the Monegros Desert throughout the authentic and wild Aragon Province. In The Sierras, sit villages, canyons, and deserted plains.  Encircling its fantastic landscapes are swirling griffon vultures.  Enjoy the local gastronomy, Spanish red wines and a night in a typical village of the area.

310 km / 5-6h

Follow the superb, winding and deserted roads towards the North and add Andorra to your Riding-List and spend the night in the heart of the Pyrenees.

340 km / 6h

Come back down from the high mountains of the Pyrenees to the Mediterranean climate of the Corbieres uplands. Then keep going between the vineyards and arrive in Montpellier where you will deserve a great beer and a great Mediterranean dish on a terrace of one of the abundant restaurants of the city.

Sore ass ? Enjoy this free day to walk around the shadowed streets of the Old Town. Then take a sunbath on one of the numerous terraces or in its several parks…

180 km / 4h

Cross the wild Region of Camargue, ranked as biosphere reserve by the UNESCO. Stuck between the Mediterranean Sea and the Rhône Delta, enjoy its tiny roads throughout its rice plantations, salt marshes and lagoons. Admire white horses, black bulls and pink flamingos in this unique and preserved landscapes. Spend the night in the “Calanques” (rocky inlet) around Carry-le-Rouet.

200 km / 5h

Superb motorycle itinerary alongside the Mediterranean Sea where you will ride along the sumptuous village of Cassis. You will then follow the famous ‘Route des Crêtes’ that offers you breathtaking views over the Calanques and Mediterranean Sea.

Markets, squares, fountains, monuments, shadowed streets… whichever you fancy, you will always find something interesting in the Capital of Provence !

260 km / 6h

On every riders bucket list is the “Gorges du Verdon” which is on today’s program. Biggest Canyon in Europe, going up to 800 meters, the road that overlooks the Gorges is simply breath-taking. The numerous panoramic points offer divine views of the Verdon river as well as the blue turquoise waters of the Sainte-Croix Lake.

310 km / 7h

This amazing and final day with its Col du Rousset ascent, door of the Vercors in the Occidental Alps, will delight the greedy rider that needs sensations.
You will follow the vertiginous and mythical road of the Combe Laval that offers exceptional panoramas before getting back to Aix-les-Bains for the last diner all together.
